Three things worth knowing before you hand us a manuscript: what we agree to do, what we do with your files, and what happens if it goes wrong. In plain English, because a policy nobody reads protects nobody.

You send us a book you have the right to publish. We narrate it and send it back.
The audiobook is yours outright — no licence, no expiry, no cut of your sales.
You upload a manuscript, choose which chapters to include, and pick a narration voice — either one of ours or one cloned from a recording you supply. We produce a chaptered .m4b audiobook and put it on a private download page.
We aim to deliver a paid audiobook within 60 hours of a completed order, and a free sample within 36 hours. These are the times we work to, not a guarantee — if something is going to take longer, we email you rather than letting the deadline pass in silence.
By placing an order you confirm that:
We do not check this and cannot — we have no way of knowing who wrote what. If a claim is made against us over material you supplied, we will pass on what we hold and you are responsible for the consequences.
We will not narrate a book in someone else's voice without their permission. If we have reason to think a voice recording isn't yours to use, we will refuse the order and refund it in full.
The finished audiobook is yours. There is no licence to renew, no royalty share, and no restriction on selling it. You may upload it to any retailer or distributor you like.
You keep every right you already had in your book. We need your permission only to do the job — to read, process and narrate the text and the voice recording — and that permission ends when the order is delivered.
We do not train anything on your book or your voice. Your recording is used to narrate your book and nothing else.
Audiobook retailers set their own rules about AI-assisted narration, and those rules change. We cannot guarantee that any particular shop will accept your audiobook, and a retailer's refusal is not a fault in the work.
Synthesised narration is very good and occasionally wrong — an unusual name, an odd emphasis. That is what the free sample is for, and what our fix-it commitment covers.
If we get something wrong, our responsibility is limited to what you paid us for that order. We are not liable for lost sales, lost royalties or other indirect losses.
Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. If you are buying as a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected by anything on this page.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
We collect your email address, your book, and your voice recording — because we cannot narrate a book without them.
We don't sell anything to anyone, we run no advertising trackers, and your manuscript is never published anywhere.
We never see your card details. Payment is handled entirely by our payment provider, who is the seller of record for your purchase.
Files are uploaded from your browser to storage run by Cloudflare, who host this site. The upload form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a request came from a person rather than a script. Payments run through Stripe.
Those three are the only companies involved. We do not use advertising networks, and there is no analytics tracking on this site.
Ask us to delete your manuscript or recording sooner and we will.
We set no cookies of our own, and there is nothing to consent to. Turnstile may store a short-lived token to avoid asking you to prove you're human twice. Your delivery page remembers your email address in your own browser, so a reload during a download doesn't send you back to the unlock screen; closing the tab forgets it.
Under UK data protection law you can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to how we use it. Email us and we will do it — there is no form and no process, there is one of us.
If we get it wrong, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. We would rather you told us first.
Something wrong with the audiobook? We fix it. If we can't, you get your money back.
Changed your mind about a book we've already made? That one we can't refund.
Every book can be sampled free, in the voice and style you picked, before any money changes hands. That is the point of the sample: nobody should be buying an audiobook without having heard one.
Tell us what's wrong and we'll narrate it again. Mispronounced names, a chapter in the wrong place, a bad join — say so and we put it right. If we still can't make it right, you get a full refund.
This applies to the work, not to the reception: a retailer declining AI-assisted narration is not a fault in the audiobook, and we say so before you buy.
We don't refund a finished audiobook because you've changed your mind. Every book is made to order from your manuscript in the voice you chose, and by the time it reaches you the work is done and cannot be resold or reused.
If you tell us to stop before we start work, we refund you in full. Email us as soon as you know — orders usually begin within a few hours.
None of the above removes your statutory rights. If digital content isn't as described, is not of satisfactory quality, or isn't fit for purpose, you are entitled to have it put right and to a refund if it can't be — and we cannot contract out of that, nor would we want to.
Because your audiobook is made to your specification and supplied as digital content, the usual 14-day cancellation right for online purchases does not apply once we have started work. You agree to that when you place the order.
Email us with your order reference — it's on your delivery page and in your receipt. No form. We reply within six hours.
